How to Reference Another Record in Same Database

I'm looking for a way to jump to a different entry from the same database within a form.

One of my databases is a glossary and some of the records are just aliases for other entries which provide the full explanation ("see xxx"). In the form that displays the currently displayed record I'd like to have a button or so that jumps to the referenced record.

How can this be done? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Ulrich,

My apologies for the unanswered post- been out of town for the holidays.

I believe you may be able to use a relationship field to link to another record in the same database. Then you can use the button action for Follow Link/Relationship/etc to jump to that record. If you want to jump directly to the form you can use the Jump to Form in other database and choose the same database. To be honest, I'm not sure if that is actually supported, but it's worth a try to see!
