Correct ANSI SQL syntax for filter

Postby Saintor » Wed Oct 27, 2010 2:21 pm

I would like to "specify a filter for the incoming records" in the "Handbase Data Exchange for ODBC" that excludes the records with today's date. The name of the field is "Date".

In Access [Date]<>Date() would work.

I don't know SQL but found this on internet

Not "Date" = DAY(GETDATE())
"Date" <> DAY(GETDATE())
"Date" < DAY(GETDATE())

Nothing passes unless there is no filter. Can somebody help on the syntax? TIA.

Have you tried Date <> GETDATE()
Have a good day

I am not a DDHSoftware employee, just a long time HanDBase user.... from Palm to Windows Mobile to Android, to iOS. Thanks to DDH, the database files transferred to each platform without a problem.
