No Longer Syncing

Postby cenzer » Wed Aug 22, 2012 1:23 pm

What are the settings to sync all tables

Os = WIN 7 N Ultimate 64-bit
Desktop = HanDBase Desktop 4.7.5
Android = HTC incredible 2
HanDBase for Android 4.5.6a

When my Pocket PC crashed, I had to do a Hard Reset.

I have not installed/reinstalled HanDBase to the Pocket PC. I want to.

From the Desktop's Handbase folder, I deleted some directories.

Currently, the Desktop's DB Browswer had three folders:

HTC (Containing all of my active restored databased for the Android HTC Incredible 1)
WINDOWSMOBLE71 (Which shows empy)
() (Which shows empty and the Desktop has no such folder)

I want to install/reinstall HanDBase to the Pocket PC -- with data stored on the SD Card.

The Desktop HanDBase Folder (WIN 7 Ultimate N 64-bit) has:

HTC
All the current, active databases
Archive
Backup
InstalPocket PC
StorageCard1
WindowsMoble
PocketPC
archive
Backup
Install
MemCardInstall (Empty)
StorageCard_20110801_160213_WINDOWSMOBILE41 (Empty)
StorageCard_20110823_010552_WINDOWSMOBILE41
StorageCard_20120810_174553_PocketPC (Empty)
StorageCard1
WINDOWSMOBILE39
nstall (Empty)
MemCardInstall (Empty)
StorageCard_20110801_160213_WINDOWSMOBILE41 (Empty)
StorageCard_20110823_010552_WINDOWSMOBILE41

The Pocket PC folders with HanDBase content:

Charles's PDA2
iPAQ File Store
My Documents
HanDBase_id.txt (with this text: 20110801_160213_WINDOWSMOBILE41)Storage Card
DDH Software HanDBase 4 (with this app: HanDBase.exe)
My Documents
Handbase
handbase_id.txt (with this text: 20120810_174553_PocketPC)

Another HanDBase folder which Windows Mobile Device Center uses to Sync the Desktop with the Pocket PC:

C:\Users\Charles\Documents\WM_Charles My Documents
PocketPC

I want to Sync: Desktop -- Android -- Pocket PC

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Houghton:

Thank you for asking.

Partially fixed: I restored the Android data to the [HTC] folder and synced to the Android.

The Pocket PC no longer has HanDBase installed -- I had to hard reset because of a crash the back up application had a flaw.

I want now to do two things:
Intall from the Desktop and HanDBase application to the Pocket PC
Remove from the Desktop the HanDBase folders that I no longer need
You will note the Desktop has many HanDBase folders from old Pocket PC syncings:
Pocket PC
StorageCard1
WindowsMoble
[WindowsMoble has three subfolders:
PocketPC
StorageCard1
WINDOWSMOBILE39
Which folders should I delete?

Do I install HanDBase to the Pocket PC from the Desktop or download the handheld app again from the Web Site?

Thank you.

Additional, when I open the Desktop, the Default DB Browser reads PocketPC (PocketPC). No databses are listed.

Since I have moved all Pocket PC folders to the PC's Desktop, I am surprised that I have to scroll the DB Browser to read [HTC(Android)].

Lastly, the DB Browser[/b has a third option [[b]()]. I have no idea which handheld this refers to. There are no databases listed.

Thank you.
Thank you.
