Error: File selected is not a HanDBase 3.0 Database

Postby mmtrafford » Fri Sep 07, 2012 10:25 pm

When I import an Access database I get this error message Error: File selected is not a HanDBase 3.0 Database but I can open the new database and the data is there and usable. The message appears whenever I import to a new database or to a current one.

I get the same message when I try to open a form, but it doesn't open.

I'm using windows 7 64 bit.

Is there any way of going from field to field in a form using the return key? I find this method much more convenient than using the tab key or the mouse.

Hi,

Thanks for posting. In certain circumstances the import via HanDBase Desktop can throw this error. It is recommended to do the import via the Data Exchange for Access tool. You can find this tool at:

Start Menu / All Programs / Tools / HanDBase 4

Regarding using the return key, I don't believe this is possible at this time.
