Accidently deleting information

Postby grputnam » Wed Jan 21, 2015 4:29 pm

The last few days working with my data base some how one row of information moves and deleats the row above or below. I lose the deleted row and have two rows that are identiclal. I don't know if I am accidently moving one row but it seems strange.
Windows PC.
I have never had this happen to me before and I have used HanDBase for many years.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for writing.

Sorry to read of the issue you are experiencing.

First, does the problem appear to be isolated to one database or does it affect multiple?

Next, is there a reproducible sequence of steps to cause this?

Finally, do you have any filters enabled that may be hiding records? How does the record count change when this occurs?

The next time it happen I will look more carefully.
It seems that for example, record A will overwritte record B.
Thanks for replying,
Gordon
