Access Violations

Hi There and Happy New Years

I've adapted the Music Collector_1 DB from this site and created a new DB called Music Tracks. I want to know what CDs, MP3s, Cassettes (yes we still have them) we have. I also want to know what Tracks are on these albums.

Music Collector_1 is listing the Artist, Album Name, CD, MP3, Tape, etc.

In Music Tracks I'm inputting the Track #, Track Name and then using DB Popups to 'link' to Music Collector_1 to get the Artist Name and Album Name. I have the Artist and Album grouped.

I am getting Access Violation error msg the FIRST time I link to Music Collector_1 when it's opened. Oh, I'm doing all this inputting from my Windows 7 Prof 32 bit Desktop, using HanDBase Professional for iPhone/iPad Add-on 4.7.7 Build R2
Version 4.7.5.

I click OK, the error msg goes away, and I can continue adding records without getting this msg again; until the next time I open the DB and start inputting.

Something not right in my DB setup?

Thanks for help

Very sorry for not seeing this post before now!

Are you still experiencing the issue?

Hi Brian

Yes this error still happens for me as I described in my original post.

First time I link, error message. After that no problem until the DB is closed and re-opened.

I don't think it's messing with my DBs, and it seems more like an inconvenience than anything else, but I would like to know if it's a problem with how I've got the DBs created.

Thanks for your help
