Error on new desktop sync w/Droid

I looked on the forum for this problem, but couldn't find any reference to it. I'm running Windows 7 - 64 bit.

I ordered and downloaded the newest Android Windows HandBase Professional Desktop. During the installation while following the instructions to sync with my Droid I received an error when I entered a user name for the Droid. I tried deleting the name so I could start over and it doesn't delete it. The user name shows up as a bunch of gibberish.

I get an "Error Window" with the following message in it: " Error: Cannot create the New users settings for this device"

So what do I do next?
