I have a LG V10 that I have successfully sync'd with my Win8 Desktop. When running my laptop (Win 10 upgrade) I realized I had not sync'd the V10 to the laptop, and proceeded to add it to the desktop HDB (I had previously, successfully sync'd my Galaxy S4 to this laptop, after the Win 10 upgrade, BTW)
On BOTH computers I am getting a message that "the devices are not on the same WiFi, or Desktop connect is not running, or the name is invalid".
The phone and the computers ARE on the same WiFi, and the name should not be "invalid", so how do I confirm that Desktop connect is, indeed, running?
I have tried restarting the phone at least twice. I have not suspected the desktop software since it is happening on two different computers.
Any suggestions, or do I uninstall and reinstall on the V10?
