Discussion of the version of HanDBase that runs on the iPhone and iPod touch devices. This includes the synchronization conduits as well.

Hi there,
I'm a new user of HanDB from Germany and i have the following problem:
The text-encoding on my iPodTouch is Unicode, so I can input German umlauts like ä or ö.
But after sync with the Desktop Version for Mac the umlauts will be replace.
How can I set the right text-encoding for the Desktop version for Mac?
Thanks for your help

I am also very interested in that item!

Can anyone help us, to find the right sync-settings?

Thank you in advance!

My apologies for not responding to the original posting. I try to respond to all the unanswered posts each day but miss them on occasion.

In response to this, the conduit does sync them over properly, it's the HanDBase for Mac application that needs an update to correct the handling of these characters. I've added it to the todo list for that product and my apologies for the inconvenience!
