News on 4.8.1 Syncing Bug

I have an IPOD Touch with HanDBase 4.8.0 installed and have noticed the sync issue after I installed OS5. I have not lost any information as far as I can tell. Just today the 4.8.1 version showed up in my App Store. Do I need to install that update or should I wait until 4.8.2 has been released? I have only recently switched from a Palm TX to the IPOD Touch and I am not familiar with version requirements. Thanks for your great work.

Soon, hopefully! More specifically, it is currently marked as "in review". This means that Apple is reviewing the update. Unfortunately we don't know how long this part of the process will take. It can vary.

I'm happy to hear that I new update (v4.8.2) is awaiting approval. I know you're not sure how long the process takes and I understand that. But, I need this app for college. So, I was wondering IF I delete the app (losing data) and reinstall version 4.8.1, will the app still crash?? Because if that is the case than I would rather not lose my data for school. But, if it will open and the app becomes usable again than I will have to sacrifice.

It was finally approved a few minutes ago! Should be live in the store in the next few hours.

Great - glad syncing is working! The iPad version is still in review with Apple. Hopefully soon...

Thanks for posting. The iPad version hasn't been approved yet. It won't sync until version 4.8.3 is approved / installed.
