Sync failure

I can no longer sync to desktop. iphone not recognized.
Happened twice before and resolved by removing and reinstalling the device
Now can't even reinstall my iphone !!!
What is going on???

Hi,

Thanks for posting.

Sorry to read of the sync issue you are experiencing.

There are a couple of things I recommend trying.

First:

- enable airplane mode on handheld
- unplug your wireless router
- wait one minute
- plug power back in to your wireless router
- wait for normal network operation to resume
- enable wifi on the handheld
- attempt to sync

If the first sequence of steps does not fix the sync:

- open HanDBase Desktop
- select the menu option Configure / iPhone Users
- when the sync dialog appears, select the partnership
- click the delete button
- agree to any prompts that appear
- close the sync dialog
- close HanDBase Desktop
- reopen HanDBase Desktop
- select the menu option Configure / iPhone Users
- enable Connect mode on the handheld
- in the sync dialog click the button to set up a new partnership and follow the onscreen prompts

Well I have finally managed to get the iPhone recognized and linked to desktop
.....BUT.....
despite the appearance of data synchronization no new records are transferred

What next?

Hi,

Sorry for missing your reply.

To know for sure what is going on, I need to see a copy of your sync log. On your computer, open HanDBase Desktop and select Configure / iPhone Users. When the sync dialog appears click the View Log option. Once visible select and copy the most recent portion of the log and post it here.
