How to freeze first column from scrolling horizontally

Postby Mdf » Sun Feb 14, 2010 9:45 am

Hi,
the "Time Billing Details" dbase (example dbase comes with the download of app) has its first column freeze from scrolling horizontally. How do I enable / disable this feature?

Thanks for help. (I seems not to find in the manual nor searching this forum - do I miss something?)

Regards

Hi there,

This is a great question. The first field in the current field order is always locked in the list view. What may make your database appear to not be locked is if the first field in the field order has a 0% field width, or it's a field that does not display in a list view (such as a heading). If those are in the first position, they are there 'in spirit' but not shown. We use this as a way to 'unlock' the first field- by sticking something in the first position that is not visible. In your case, you likely need to do the opposite.

Hope this helps!
