Hi, I'd like to get Handibase for my Nexus android tablet and put something together to synch updates to an ancient but very well designed dbase V dos sales contact manager. I am willing (of course) to code the dbase stuff on my own and use an intermediate database and program to handle the updating, but I'll still need to synch to a dbase V for DOS database. I believe dbase for dos V is OBDC compliant, it was the final version they created for DOS and I recall from the early 00s that handibase would sync with dbase .dbf files.

Two questions, can handibase sync with a dbase memo field, and what all programs / packages would I need to get to put this together? I suppose I'd need a desktop app (I use windows 7 64 bit but use XP PC mode to run the DOS program), a OBDC synch program, and the Android program. I don't mind manually synching files so don't worry about synch automagically happening into a DOS box, I don't know if that's possible but I don't need that functionality for now.

Thanks!
