Backup overload

Postby glenwf » Sun Jul 27, 2014 5:44 pm

I was asked to provide the first part of my log to find out why I had 20,000 files in my backup directory (see July 8 - Backup Limits?). I provided it, but nobody answered if there is a problem with my backup configuration or what... I think I have 123 databases x 10 would make only 1,230 files in my backup directory, almost 20 times less than what I have.

First few rows of backup log which is 643 lines long. Hope this tells you something.

Hi Glen,

Thanks for posting.

My sincere apologies, as I was thinking that I replied to that post. Must not have though, and am sorry.

Please send me a full copy of the sync log to support @ ddhsoftware . com (without the spaces) so I can review it, since the first few lines do not have enough information to determine why such an excessive amount of backups is being created.

Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards,
