I had an issue with this using a Samsung Galaxy S3 and Windows 7. I'm not sure if it's specific to this sync setup or the general sync process though. I exported a database from my phone. I added data to existing records , then added new fields to the database before continuing to add new info to existing records. Then I set up the WebDAV URL on my phone and synced from the desktop. The existing records did not get updated, and there were new records added with garbage data. The new fields I had added did not exist. Then, I deleted the entire database from the phone and synced again - to see if the difference in fields was the issue. When I did that it restored the old database content. The fields I had added and the new data did not exist. That really confused me.
One thing I haven't tried yet is updating the phone database to have the same fields as were added to the desktop, then try the sync. That may be the trick, but it would be a big hassle since I also have a tablet I want to sync this to.
** I seem to have fixed the issue. I tried modifying the DB on the phone, as I said, but that did not work. Then I noticed that I did not have any DB in the Sync dialog's shared list. I added my DB's there and everything worked on both my Samsung Galaxy s3 and Nexus 7. I have not synced from the desktop for some time, and never from this machine, so I must have missed that necessary step. It would be helpful to add that to the list in the first post of this thread for others (or those like me with a short memory). Thanks again for your efforts in maintaining HanDBase.
