Any way of transferring records DIRECTLY to another app?

Postby Astroman33 » Tue Mar 31, 2015 12:32 pm

I know that I can email the records or even transfer them to the desktop, but I was wondering if there were a way of directly on the iPhone or iPad of copying the records and pasting them into another app-- say, Numbers or Doc 2 Go?

I often want to see my data graphed with different scaling--and to so on the fly--without multiple steps or putting the data out into the wild.

Alternatively, maybe scaling options could be implemented on the HanDBase graphs!

Hi,

Most spreadsheet apps support working with CSV files, a format to which HanDBase can export records.

Try the following:

- open your database in HanDBase
- while viewing the list of records, tap the button in the lower right
- from the list of options that appears choose the option to email records
- from the next popup that appears choose the CSV format (if the database has lots of records it is normal for there to be a slight pause at this instance)
- when the Open In dialog opens, you should see the apps installed that support importing of CSV, including your spreadsheet apps

Hope this helps!
Kind Regards,
