Creating one to one relationship?

Postby docayps » Mon Dec 14, 2015 4:56 am

I made my first patient database with a unique hospital I'd of 6 numbers. I would like to create another database wherein I can use the unique patient Id together with some fields associated with it like last name and first name of patient so I can make a billing database. I was trying to connect them with relationships but can't seem to make that work. Need some help please. Thanks.

Thanks for posting.

Without actually seeing how you have set up your databases, I'm curious why the relationship based on your unique patient ID value is not working. When you follow the relationship from parent to child, what do you want to happen, and what do you find actually happens?

If you have a set of your databases without actual real patient data in them that I can look over, I'd be happy to take look at the configuration to see what is going wrong for you.

You could send them to me at support @ ddhsoftware . com with a detailed explanation of the fields you are using and the steps you are taking.
