Mailing database or records

Postby Haemers » Sun Nov 06, 2016 1:07 pm

Maybe this question is better posted in GENERAL forum

Hi,

I use handbase on some handhelds in my business.
I scan QR codes on articles in my warehouse. Everything works perfect. Even sync with access which i use for planning.
But i want to know is there any possibility that i can have a button on the form to mail directly all records in database to somebody.
Or maybe export to CVS and mail. Or PDF.
Printing would also be an possibility but than we have to scan the paper and printing with my handheld I never managed also.

It would be a great time saver for us and there would be made less faults.

I use an INTERMEC CN50 Windows Mobile 6.1

I would be great that somebody could help me or give me some usefull info.

Greetings David

Thanks for posting.

The Windows Mobile version has an option to export a record to a text file, which can in turn be attached to an email and sent. You will find that option on the Actions menu.

This process is not automated to the degree that it is in the iOS and Android versions, which achieves that functionality due to the integrated "sharing" functionality of those operating systems.
