This logging DBase is simple and like other loggers that you may have used. A few things about this log is it will log your date and time as you enter the record. Also, by tapping RST a pop up will appear allowing you to insert a 59 for the report. Some times its hard to enter text on a Palm OS device so a field was added called scribble. This allows you to jot a quick note like a "sticky note".

Your favorite contact database has now been upgraded!!!
This new release adds the ability to assign a project to a specific phone call or contact. It also allows you to access the Follow up, Voicemail, Assignment and Contact portions directly from the start screen of the Basic Data.
This finally also has a voice mail log so you can record all of your voicemails and target them for follow up.
ALL OF THE DATABASES USE THE SAME BASIC DATA ABOUT AN INDIVIDUAL so you can search all contacts made by or to a specific person.
NEW UPDATE: Now has the ability to set up follow up actions in advance of talking with someone. Ever get the "unplanned" call and you are not ready to talk about key issues? No More! Now you have all the ones at the tip of you fingers. When the unplanned call happens, you are ready with your follow up items!
This contact database allows you to go far beyond just recording a phone call event. This allows you to keep track of all contacts, follow up required, and companies contacted. Further you can make assignments to individuals and track completion dates, completions and what is overdue. You can also create projects and assign tasks to projects. All this allows you to sort and filter to get key information

I put together a database using HanDBase to keep track of people that I talk to on the air. This database only includes one record as an example. My friends asked me not to send it out with there personal information. So each user will have to feed it with there information to make it a useful tool.

By Call sign
Comments:
This database is not a logging program. It is intended to collect information about the HAMs that you know. You just record the call sign and name of a HAM that you meet. Later I use QRZ to look up the call sign to validate that it matches the name. From QRZ I copy the address and license past it into the database using the PC version of HanDBase. I then go down the list of interest and check the boxes that apply. This way the next time I hear the person on the air. Or reconise the voice but did not hear there call sign. I know what there interest are.
This also help me remember call signs by common interests.
On the Palm the
First field is a check box. I use this to mark names that I want shown. (Use filter to show all or only checked records)
Second field is the Call sign. (Database is normally sorted by call sign)
Third field is for Name.
Forth field is T for talked check this box if you have talked on the air to this HAM.
Fifth field is V for viewed check this box if you have met this HAM.
By clicking on the line you bring up the rest of the records.

The rest are check boxes to keep track of common interests
I do not record every HAM in town, just the ones that I want to remember. A friend of a friend, coworkers, key people in local clubs, etc.

This file has been updated and now includes 1,217 exhibitors instead of the 1,048 in the original file.
