This Applet helps you track how much allowance you will owe your kids for the chores they do. This has a date and time field. The names can be assigned to a Popup. You could even make multiple copies and have the name default to the proper child. This has a Text Popup with chores assigned. There is also a Float Popup with some basic amounts assigned, .25, .50, etc. Then there is a Total field that calculates the Total you owe them. If you filter for a specific child it will have their total. There also a checkbox to indicate if you have paid them and a date field for when you did.

Here's a way to keep track of all the apps you have on your phone or iPod Touch. This app lets you keep track of when you purchased the app, how much you paid (with a running total) and what the version number was and lets you put in the date of the last update. You can also specify if the app has a backup process and describe what it is. And keep track of the apps you may not have on your device but still can reload.
A surprisingly easy and effective bill paying applet. All data can be entered, edited, and retrieved in a 2-page form. In addition to the fields you normally find in a database of this kind -- name, description, amount, and due date, you can also record the usual amount you pay, your normal due date, the frequency of the bill, what grace period is allowed, any interest charged, and, if so, at what rate, the date you paid the bill, the form of payment, any notes you care to make, and even your account number. Moreover, an alarm -- day and time -- may be set as a reminder (snooze is set for 1 day). The database may be sorted and filtered on any field, and is fully editable. You can duplicate each record for easy entry the next time you need to pay, and thus create a complete record of your payments -- to whom, when, and how paid. If you want, you can set a password and encrypt the data. You are given 6 sample records and 12 views to start you off.
Hints:
Do not confuse "Previous" and "Next" with the tabs "p.1" and "p.2." The tabs are used to navigate within a single record while "Previous" and "Next" take you from record to record.
Click on "Copy to New" to create new records to use the next time you pay each bill. This eliminates a great deal of data copying.
Bill paying is never an enjoyable process, but I hope this applet makes it easier.

The most recent change is due to a friendly suggestion. I have added a Running Total field to the List View(only -- it would be impractical for the forms); hence v. 2.7. As an economic indicator. As the most widely used measure of inflation, the CPI is an indicator of the effectiveness of government policy. In addition, business executives, labor leaders and other private citizens use the index as a guide in making economic decisions.
As a deflator of other economic series. The CPI and its components are used to adjust other economic series for price change and to translate these series into inflation-free dollars.
As a means for adjusting income payments. Over 2 million workers are covered by collective bargaining agreements which tie wages to the CPI. The index affects the income of almost 80 million people as a result of statutory action: 47.8 million Social Security beneficiaries, about 4.1 million military and Federal Civil Service retirees and survivors, and about 22.4 million food stamp recipients. Changes in the CPI also affect the cost of lunches for the 26.7 million children who eat lunch at school. Some private firms and individuals use the CPI to keep rents, royalties, alimony payments and child support payments in line with changing prices. Since 1985, the CPI has been used to adjust the Federal income tax structure to prevent inflation-induced increases in taxes.

FILTERING & REPORTS: The database allows filtering on all fields. Two suggestions:
Number One
1) Filter 1 Enabled
2) Selected Field: Date
3) Lower Limit: Your choice
4) Upper Limit: Your choice
5) Filter 2 Disabled
This filter allows you track information on any date-based domain. If you use the date field as the date when items were sold, you can track easily the sales for the month. Set the Lower and upper limits appropriately for the month of choice and the filter shows you only those items sold that month. Recalculate you will have totals for cost, sales, profits, and margin for the month
Number Two
1) Filter 1 Disabled
2) Filter 2 Enabled
3) Selected Field: Margin/Item
4) Lower Limit: Your choice
5) Upper Limit: Your choice
This filter allows you to identify your top producing products. If you set the margin at your desired domain, the range produced is the items that sell for your ideal profit. This might help you decide which items to purchase. Conversely you could set the domain to produce a range that shows which items are your poorest producers. Now you could use your check box. Check only the items that you want to make special note of. Say, your number one producers. Now to find those items all that is required is to filter the XXX field with the box checked.
