Description:This is an expense recording database for visual artists (painters, sculptors, etc). It is on two tabs to allow entry of an expense detail with an accompanying note if needed. This has helped me at the end of the year when compiling Schedule C expenses.


In this applet you will find:

  • Tabs for EXPENSE Details and NOTES.
  • The TO-FROM LOCATION entry (in case you are keeping track of those miles)is now an editable pop-up so you won't have to type so much for up to 60 different frequently traveled destinations(just delete the ones I have and put yours in)

    Essentially, this allows for entry of the date, a dollar amount, type of payment (cash, credit, etc) and check boxes for the type of expense. A sales income check box is here too (you may wish to enter income as a "minus" amount, or opposite from expenses).

    You may also keep miles driven and to-from locations as well as a note field for recording the purpose expense, or whatever you like. This can help at the end of the year to summarize business costs.

    Check boxes with abbreviated label include:

    • MATERIALS
    • TOOLS
    • HARDWARE/CHEMICALS (Could incl. cleaners ect)
    • ADVERTISING
    • SERVICES (Like making slides of your work)
    • COMPUTER RELATED (PCs, software, handhelds, etc)
    • MEMBERSHIPS (Gallery and/or Professional)
    • BOOKS, PUBLICATIONS, FILMS, EDUCATION
    • OFFICE SUPPLIES
    • ENTRY FEES
    • INTERNET (Domain fees or watever)
    • TRAVEL/LODGING

      It is up to the user to create his/her own filters and reports; I just export to a spreadsheet. I created this for my Dell Pocket PC. Feel free to change things around to suit yoursef.

    Comments:This was created using HanDBase 3.51, but should work fine in 3.0k or higher. The Form View is pretty nice and well organized and leaves room for your pocket PC "keyboard" to pop up. The list view could be better.

      This is an expense recording database for real estate sales people which is very similar to, but improved, version of R/E EXPENCE in this Gallery. It is now on two tabs to permit Pocket PC keyboards not to be in the way, too.


      In this version, there are
