Allow Global Find on Database

I have purchased the latest version of HanDBase Desktop for Windows v.4.7.5 with HanDBase Professional for iPhone/iPad Add-On 4.7.7 Build R2. On the General settings page where you can check the "Allow Global Find on Database" setting, the checkbox is not visible and cannot be selected. This makes creating a link/linked field to another table/database impossible. Can someone please help me? Is there a work around or a link to another older version of HanDBase Desktop for Windows that I could down load?
