Mac OS 64 Bit version

Got it and it runs,
BUT
I can not sync with my iPhone. When I select my iPhone and try to connect with the correct URL, I get this Message:

The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection.

I looked at :
Got to Apple->System Preferences->Security and Privacy
On the General tab, look at the bottom 3rd, and there should be something about HanDBase cannot be opened. There will be an 'Open Anyways' button. Click it.

But that does not relate to my system : OSX, El Capitan, 10.11.6, MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012),

I poked around and couldn't find anything except firewall stuff. Do I deactivate my firewall? NO, that didn't work.
Any Suggestions other than removing this update?

Yes, it is--and I'm very happy! I've been using HanDBase for-- well, for a long time, since the early Palm Pilot days. There's nothing even close to it for smartphones and tablets.

Is it still 4.0? I would have expected a different version number, or at least a notation on the download page.

Version 4.6.0.2 for Catalina. Not, 4.5 something I believe.
Just 5 min ago updated to Catalina thanks to the remarks here. HanDBase still starts up, encouraging.

Is the Wine version of HanDBase working with Catalina? It doesn't look like it on my MacBook Pro with Catalina. Worked before update.

Truthfully, I have never got the WINE version to work. I haven't tried it in a couple of years.

This would be a 'Dave needs to answer' question.

I just did a quick search and found this discussion on WINEHQ. It looks like WINE is having issues with Catalina too, so I would not put a lot of stock into WINE working for now

Personally I run an instance of Windows 10 on my copy of vmware fusion and use the HanDBase desktop on that. It syncs just fine with WiFi sync and works well.

I must be missing something. I downloaded the trial version and it's not for Catalina. Do I have to repurchase HanDBase? Not an issue, but I don't want to purchase it and end up with the old version.

If you purchased HanDBase Desktop from the website before, then you should log into your DDHSoftware account to download the Catalina version. Just click on the login tab on the home page of the website to access the login page.

If I remember right, the version number was not updated on the owner's page but downloading it again will download the correct version. The version that is working on my MacBook Pro is Version 4.6.0.2
