I moved from Palm to Windows Mobile to Android over the period of years......... I specifically didn't move to Windows Mobile 7 from Windows Mobile because it was taking Microsoft a long time to bring it out. I checked out the developer conference when they announced Windows Mobile 7 and was NOT inpressed with it. I wanted a smart phone because I was sick of carrying around a Zune, a Dell Axim, and a regular phone. My Droid X brought all three functions of these devices to one device.

There were two reasons why I went with the X. One was it was on Verizon (my current carrier and did not want to change carrier) and I love the 4.3" screen

Another thing to consider, Microsoft decided to break off backwards compatibility to previous Windows Mobile OS. This means that Dave would have to rewrite HanDBase to work on Mobile 7. Which means that Dave will watch how it goes with adoption, before allocating resources (his time) to Windows Mobile 7.
Have a good day

I am not a DDHSoftware employee, just a long time HanDBase user.... from Palm to Windows Mobile to Android, to iOS. Thanks to DDH, the database files transferred to each platform without a problem.
