Databse will not open

I have a long standing application consisting of 2 databases - sales accounts & sales history.
The application is distributed to 6 users daily by email. About 3 weeks ago 4 of the users reported that when they opened the database it appeared incorrectly. - Fields are all over the place and in the wrong order. I have deleted both the data and the app on these devices (iphones/ipads) and resent both the databases and their forms but this has not resolved the problem. However if I email the databases and forms to my own iphone and ipad they work correctly. All devices are running version 4.9.04.
On further investigation I have found something really strange.
Email with two databases - sales.pdb & slhist.pdb
I open the databases on my iphone and all works correctly.
I access the same email and open the databases on the customers iphone and it does not work correctly.
Normally we only open the sales database directly however when trying to troubleshoot I tried to open the slhist database directly and get the following message
"Database Open Not Permitted on the Database"
Same databases, same version of Handbase - very confusing. Can anyone offer any help?

The update to HanDBase for iPhone was just approved. Please update, test the issue and let us know if it is now fixed for you, or if you continue to have problems.
