Is it possible to have 2 users access and et / add entries to the same database? (like one desktop and one ipad?) it would be okay that the ipad and desktop each edit their own version of the database then just sync their data? I am planning on having the desktop used by a secretary to input data and the entries would then be available for the ipad user to add additional data later on

Yes, indeed that's possible. Take a look at my reply to your other question as there is one caveat to consider. But it's in use in this exact manner by many customers!
