I searched for "cannot create file" error message in the Knowledge Base. Results generally don't seem to apply to my situation.
I was cleaning up some old files and moved some HanDBase files around outside of the applications. This is probably the genesis of my problem. I now have the approximately 15 pdb files that I use in a single location and cannot sync any of them with the smartphone/tablets that I used to collect the information. A sample of the error message details follow the "cannot create file" is c:\users\Dennis\Documents\HandDBase\DennisNoteGalaxy3\Bibliography.pdb. I receive a variation of this message for each file, with the differences being the folder in which each used to reside.
I can open each on the desktop (Win 10) and save and rename. I've copied the file in question from the tablet/smartphone (Android) to my hard drive and performed a merge. Still won't sync. Suspecting that the file path was the issue I opened each and re-associated it with the Android device. Still no joy. I then tried to reinstall the DB from the desktop to the smartphone/tablet. I receive an error that it can't be installed, no further details.
Any suggestions?
