instruction to install hdbocx.ocx is not working

Instructions for installing HDBOCX.OCX

Download and save this OCX file to your computer. (For ease in installing we recommend you save this somewhere simple such as C:\TEMP\.

Right Click here to download
From your Start menu select Run.
Now type: regsvr32 C:\TEMP\hdbocx.ocx where "C:\TEMP\" is the location where you saved the hdbocx.ocx file when you downloaded.

If that does not work you may need to type the path to the regsvr32 application.
Windows 95, 98 and ME users type: C:\Windows\System\regsvr32 C:\TEMP\hdbocx.ocx
Windows NT and 2000 users type: C:\WINNT\System32\regsvr32 C:\TEMP\hdbocx.ocx

You should receive a message that the OCX has been successfully registered.
You can now use this OCX in your programs!

Hi there,

Thanks for your post. Where were you seeing those instructions? It seems like I have not removed an article that refers to outdated/retired information. I checked the server and didn't see the article or the file anywhere, and I know a lot of that was replaced when we implemented a different method of connectivity between apps.
